The first fligt December 17, 1903Had someone at the time thought to help the two bicycle shop owners build their Wright Flyer, a small investment as a sponsor or advertiser back on December 17, 1903 would have produced an ad that would still be working today. The ad on the wings of that airplane would continue to be getting exposure in text books, The Wright Air Museum, The Smithsonian Museum, documentary films and frequently on TV 100 years after the event.

1889 Oklahoma Land RushAnother historical event, a governments race, the 1889 Oklahoma Land Rush has had movies made about it and the starting line photos are still in circulation. Imagine if you had had the foresight to have your logo printed on the canvas of one of those covered wagons. Your ad would still be working for you today.  Your ad would be in text books all across the nation, on museum walls, and be for sale in national parks gift shops as part of that picture.

That kind of opportunity exists today! AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL MAGIC, LLCis a group of dedicated scientists, engineers and staffers who are outfitting one vehicle for an historic event, the 2 million dollar DARPA Urban Challenge November 3rd, 2007.   “We are doing this because it's fun, and it's for a great cause.”  Proving that it can be done, by doing it, will unleash a flood of developments that will result in saving soldiers lives on the battle field and even larger numbers of civilian lives on the highway.

While the ad space on our vehicle is a great value, it turns out that most of our sponsors are contributing for the fun of it. We invite you to join in the fun! Advertising sponsors have greater access to the inner workings of the team than the general public has, if they want it. Additional perks and passes are also available.

What we offer our sponsors, and advertisers:

  • The opportunity to participate in an historic event
  • Media coverage of us preparing our vehicles for the race, off road testing, other events and interviews will provide great exposure for you.
  • Use of AIM's vehicle and team members in sponsors ads should multiply its effect.
  • Win or not, a years worth of coverage could be quite valuable to our sponsors and advertisers.

Advertising space is available on:

  • One vehicle is being prepared for the race, 6 sides
  • About ten support vehicles, 5 sides each vehicle
  • Shop banners,shop walls,shop floor,
  • In the documentary film we are producing,
  • On the pit crew coveralls and other places.

Product placement is available.

  • Showcasing of products is available.
  • Licensing for use of our people and vehicles in your ads is available.
  • Mention of your company or its products in our interviews is possible.

You may purchase advertising space on our experimental vehicle in  square inches, square feet - or the whole car. Coverage of the entire vehicle is only $5 million dollars.

Hint: The space on the bottom of the vehicle may be the most valuable to you because if the vehicle
should roll over and catch fire, the bottom side is sure to replay on the evening news over and over again.
